Fret board all oiled up. As soon as the weather breaks I'll go ahead with leveling the clear coat.
Right now it's time for an ice cold Snapple peach ice tea.:dude:

While leveling and crowning the frets I noticed the neck had a slight backbow, I'm atributing it to the humidity here lately.
I strung her up and it pulled right back where it should be. I then tuned her up to F# and I'll leave it strung up for a couple days with a dehumidifier running in the shop. This is why I rarely use the Gibson style truss rod and always opt for the two way truss rods. She played nice with no buzz of dead frets, though the frets are higher and not as wide as I like them to be, but than again, this guitar isn't for me.:)

Had to do a few small drop fills, but she's coming along nicely. Mixing the final coats of clear 50/50 saved a hell of a lot of wet sanding.

This was sanded to 2000gt, then sprayed with a 50/50 mix of lacquer and thinner and buffed out. No more sanding required.

She's all set except the soldering and the strings.

I like that jig where you have the 1st and 6th string running over the bridge and to the "tuners", do you use that for bridge placement? Awesome work, I can't wait to see more!
