Now it sounds like a guitar I could love!!
In fact, now I DO love it!!!!
Very cool. Do we get an audio sample now?
..but of course.
I'm not a fan of traditional guitars. That's why I really dig this one. Great job.
!!! SOLD !!!!
Pete, the buddy of mine that gave me the slab of burl for working on His Ovation, just had to have this guitar. He called dibs on it a while ago, and I guess He wasn't kidding.
It's headed out in a nice black lined tweed case. He stopped by Sunday and couldn't put it down. Totally in love with it!!!!
It's never hard to sell good merchandise that you believe in. The passion we put into our builds is contagious in more ways than one. I get fired up and inspired to build. If a buyer catches that excitement from me, it's over. He can't hold back. He's the proud owner of a new git-fiddle, trying to figure out how to explain or hide it from the wife, girlfriend or both.
Sounds like your buddy caught it and caught it hard.
Yes he did.
...and better yet? his Wife is giving Him the money for it...early Christmas present.
Love what you did with the neck refinish. Awesome job all around.
Congrats there are two happy people now!
The guitar looks awesome in that tweed case.
They have to be the easiest of all guitar bodies too build.
Mixed feelings about selling this one, but seeing how happy my friend, Pete is makes it easier.
what do you like?
Kind of late to ask, but what is that yellow cap in the wiring photos?
