Hi everyone i am about to finish my les paul project. After 3 coats of cellulose sealer, sanded at grit 600 between each coat. I applied the first layer of nitrocellulose yellow translucent for my sunburst but there are two spits and in some points, there is not enough laquer (near the neck particularly) so there is a tone difference. Can i directly spray another coat of yellow, do I have to sand before ? grit 600 too ? Thanks for your answers Fred
spray straight over it - save sanding until absolutely necessary - at the end of the job - trust me you won't want to clean up the mess after you have sanded through the yellow. Cellulous lacquer will bite into the underlying cured finish - kind of melts into it and it becomes one
