    Greetings everyone,
I hope this message finds you well. I am in need of a trade that I can finely tune in my self with no real apprenticeship, and am considering becoming a luthier. I can imagine that it would be much easier as an apprentice to someone. I was a driver as a profession for many years but now can no longer rely on this as a method of income. I have little woodworking skills, but do own a jigsaw and a drill. I am curious as to what do you think it would take to get started as a luthier, tool wise. I am attracted to the idea of creating custom made electric guitars, starting out with a model that I will design. Do you feel like giving advice? I need it. Where else should I post this topic at in the forum? I look forward to becoming a member of this forum.
    Kind Regards,
    KBA
