Got wood?

    Today, I got wood.

    9ft of 12.5" wide 8/4 sapele and 5ft of 4/4 wenge.

    If you buy any wood, or have anything you want to show off, feel free to post up! Idea is to be like a "What's on your workbench?" for wood purchases :agreed:

    ok this are my babies..waiting to be transformed into a guitar someday ( i have zero time these days)

    Wavy figured chilean oak (or roble beech, or nothofagus obliqua):

    Cedro Arana (sometimes called Tornillo), similar to mahogany, smells like happiness and the tap tone is like a giant marimba:

    i also have some hard maple (plain) and sirari (or tiete rosewood), but i havent had taken pics of them yhet..nothing too interesting to see..

    Indeed it is. I am thinking it would be a crime to degrade it with frets and dots, so it's going to be a fretless bass, no lines, side markers only.
