Hi everyone, just joined a few minutes ago. Living in Arkansas and just picking up playing after setting it down years ago.
I have an old Peavey Predator that has a lot of fret wear on the 1st 8 frets. I would like to level them but not sure how much fret would be left after all the grooves are sanded out. I could measure the lowest point off the fret board with a depth gauge but don't know what the minimum height that would be acceptable. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
If a refret is required does anyone offer frets that are already rolled to the proper radius?
