Stewmac is back ordered for a month. Anyone have a left over can of stewmac's vintage Amber lacquer they would be willing to sell me? I only need 1/2 a can or less.
    Thanks!

I've got an over 1/2 full, 5 gallon bucket, of real deal Mcfaddens vintage amber, that I will never use. You can have it, if you want to pick it up or pay for shipping. I've been mixing my own for several years. The pre-mixed stuff is never quite right and I can get a perfect match by using plain nitro and slowly tinting it with trans tint, as I go. I've been using Watco brand nitro for about 4 years now. I can get it from menards and it burns in perfect, without any hue shift, when I do repairs on Gibsons or martins or any other nitro sprayed guitar. Besides that stewmac stuff is crazy over priced.

Thank you for the kind offer! Unfortunately, I am trying to finish a job that was started with the rattle can stuff. Hopefully one day I will venture into using a real spray setup.
