Figured I should probably do this too, instead of hogging so many threads :D

Didn't get much done today on account of my dog running away last night. I got him home around noon (thankfully someone found him), but didn't really leave the house until 1:30pm or so. I had to drive to my wood supplier, which is quite a ways and there was traffic both ways, so I didn't even get to my shop until 5pm. At that point, I unloaded my wood, planed a top, and rough cut a new body on the bandsaw.

So tomorrow I'll have much more to do, as I'll have more instruction on a brand new order I just took. Also have the 9 string to work on.

Made a bunch of walnut body blanks.

This is the back of the one I'll be using on a new order.

This is the glue side of the top I'll be using on the new build.

Worked on the inlays for the fanned 9 build too. Those are little airplane shaped pieces of plexi glued to abalam. They get smaller as they go up the frets, and will swoop across the fretboard. Was a really cool idea by the customer.

I don't know what that guitar does to my mind.
At first I didn't like it, now I do.

It's not one of my designs, but I do like it. I wouldn't build it if I didn't

Routed the rear roundover, carved the bevels, and scooped out the lower horn a bit. I also did the tummy cut after these pictures, didn't bother snapping a shot of that.

Did the headstock decal on this one, the water slide decals were giving me trouble before but I think I've got it now.

Glued up a pair of myrtlewood tops, for the new headless build.

There's a guitar body buried under there, I swear.

Glued the top onto the new headless build, this pic is the drop top. The body is going to be bound top and back, so binding the forearm contour is going to be a challenge. I'm up for it though.
