Another newbie question. I used steel wool to fine sand before buffing. I know the little fibers can reek havoc with pickups and such. What do folks use to clean up the little fibers left behind?

You taped off the pick ups and the pots, right?

A good magnet will pull it off. Or compressed air. Use the sticky side of some brown tape.

I use magnets too- rare earth ones. An old toothbrush sometimes does the trick in tight places where the wool pieces can't or won't be moved by the magnet to a spot that will allow the magnet to pull them or that you can snag them with tape as Dave suggests.
