25.4 ('martin' Vs 25.5" Fender ---any Real Audible Difference?

....Anyone think the 25.4" scale would give any audible difference in overtones or general tone compared to a standard 25.5" fender length?

I have not tried this exact comparison, but I have played plenty of Gretsch (24.6") scale and Gibson (24.75") scale guitars and I could not tell the scale lengths apart, neither by the feel nor the tone. Note that these were electric guitars, I don't know how acoustics would compare. For Gibson vs Fender, however, there's a noticable difference in tone.

I wouldn't worry about it.

As an acoustic guitar player and builder I can not tell the difference between these two scale lengths. I can tell the difference between a 24.9 and a 25.5 in feel on the fretboard with the 24.9 being easier on my fingers.
