That's wild. My experience with padouk has been that it's very dry too.

I use padauk in smaller bits and pieces here and there. Stringers on multi-piece necks, for instance, and a thin layer between the top and body...

Agreed. It's a nice ebony replacement wood. Fine-grained, dark (or light... or both :lol: ), dense wood. I like it quite a bit :)
