    Cheers! Sounds good lol - yeah, it was a pain in the ass to convert all the templates. The screw holes in the templates have to be countersunk so that the router doesn't hit the screw heads. It's worth it though and you only have to do it once.

    Some nice bubinga boards you have there sawdust =O

    Howdy!

    I'm working on a set of four hourglass mountain dulcimers. I'm building my skills with the goal of building guitars worthy of resale. Towards that end, I took the information from my guitar-building library and made a body & side mold and set of cauls for the dulcimers. At this point I just have piles of wood that will get made into sides and backs.

    I should have this one finished this evening. Can't wait to get it out of here!

    Swamp ash body, 3 Duncan Little 59s with a push pull to split the neck and bridge, old school Charvel style brass bridge (made by a friend), 3pc maple neck, ebony board, stainless speed bumps, blah blah blah. :)

    that one is from allied lutherie, but i think its their older model, not the new stainless one =[

    right now its just a pile of wood that somewhat resembles guitars..

    3 months left to get all these done.

    yeah, this year has a been a crazy one. big risk, hopefully big reward in september.


    the sapwood waterfall buginga ones are my favourite, but the pale moon ones are also super nice.
