cool, should look sharp.
I really dig that finish, as well as the overall shape.
Faux binding sprayed on, scraped clean, ready for coats tomorrow.
Adam, that is freakin cool man!
Thanks! That's why it's my favorite finish
These are exactly the words I had in mind so I double them!
That is a sick finish, man.
*edit* ...and I love everything about that body. Is that recess there for the input jack? That's what I was assuming, but I don't see a jack hole in those pics.
Haven't drilled the hole yet. I've got a gargantuan 24mm bit that will make easy work if that.
The great thing about doing what you love is that occasionally you just get the urge to throw all of your spare parts into a pile & say "What can I build with these?" Nope, not for sale, just for the hell of it, to see what happenzzz....

Making some progress on an acoustic project:
Picture updated below
You got perty wood
Very nice piece you got there Rob.Mcdougall. Nice use of inlays and beautiful Ziricote.
Thanks Adam and E_I
Somehow that pic got corrupted - this is what I intended to post:
neck time! check out the awesome piece on the bottom, figured korina with coco bolo stringers and flame maple binding with a kingwood board....and the blue flame board is the flame maple 5 piece with figured korina stringers.
i know i didnt write between the picswhat everything is, but im sure you guys can figure out most of the woods.....if you cant and are curious, just ask!
Those are some intensely cool necks and inlay!
heres a little something i made when playing hookey instead of building instruments.....was a gift for th wife......of her years worth of corks (there were plenty more left over.....and its only a year, she bought one of these last year and i used her corks for that one......btw, i dont drink wine.....
a friend did ask me if i had lost my mind wasting all that primo wood on a wino tray though!
Refinishing the headstock for the white guitar, to match the body of course. Going to pore fill it tonight and start lacquer tomorrow.
Also sprayed lacquer on the body today and sealed up another neck.
