I have a custom single coil that I made sitting here, and no plans for it. It's Alnico-V, lacquer potted. I marked the output at 6.5k after making it, but I don't have a multimeter here to verify that's the correct output.

I will get pictures up later today. I has never been installed on a guitar, so the leads are at full length.

I am looking to trade this for some wood for making handplanes. I can only use very hard and dense woods, no Mahoganies etc. Normally I use Ebony or African Blackwood, but any hard/dense wood will work (preferably dark woods).

I would require two blocks of the same wood that are 45mm x 45mm (approximately) and 10 inches long.

Might be interested in other trades as well.

    Cheers!
    Anthony

I have some pretty sweet curly Katalox.

Shit, bit it's the wrong size. Sorry.

But I do want to buy a plane or two. Can you PM me details on price/shipping/turnaround?

Hmm...how big is the Katalox? I have to google that wood...never used it (or seen it, actually).

Pics of the pickup - sry, these are awful pics taken by my phone.

The katalox is only about 3/4" (19mm) thick, but is maybe a 10" long and 4" (102mm) wide....I think. I haven't had eyes on that piece for a little while now.

Darn :( I was hoping maybe it would work when laminated, but unfortunately I think that it is too small to make a full-sized plane out of without adding other woods into the mix.
