I have been using Nitro Lacquer for my finishing, but I am thinking of switching to conversion varnish. I hear it is easier to work with, takes less coats, and it will be ready for sanding much quicker. Has anyone used conversion varnish and do you find that it is an improvement over lacquer? Are there any down sides to using it?
