New top - guess what wood.

    It's poplar. True poplar, not the gray/green stuff typically called poplar in the US. It's usually called aspen or cottonwood in the US.

    Looks like it has a few birds eyes on the upper part of the board. Looks like a very pink wide grain Maple. The lighting could easily make maple look pink especially if it has some mineral spirits on it. I think the lighting is making this look a bit pink but my guess is that is has some green hues to it.......Mytle
