Acoustic, dreadnought build. So I have my sides bent and neck and tail block glued in. I am about to install the kerfing. When my I expand my body mold clamps, the sides expand to better fit the mold. Not a lot, but enough to notice. If I install the kerfing in this state, will it help support that expanded fit? Will the sides contract back in and bust up the kerfing? Should I not install the kerfing while the expansion clamps are in place?

    Thank you.

Kerfing isn't rigid, so it probably won't make the sides keep their shape. I should think gluing on the top or back would do that.
