TKO - have any interest in acoustic plans? I have an archive of acoustic and classical guitar blueprints saved on my laptop that could be added here :)

If Ken doesn't I really do. If you feel comfortable doing so, could you send them to me or drop them on my FTP site here at work?

    ftp.galaxypress.net

Username and password are both the word public. I will have a folder named guitar plans on the site.

Only if this is not an imposition or causes you any discomfort.

    Thanks,

    Gary

I would be happy to upload them for you :) I can't do it from work because the server won't allow me to connect to an FTP server, but once I'm home I will upload the files.

Ok, now that is totally cool and very nice of you to do this and I sincerely appreciate the help. No rush on this at all. What ever is best for you and your schedule is fine with me.

    Thanks,

    Gary

BTW I have been following your threads. You are one talented dude!!! I am very impressed with what you have been doing. Why does you shop have to be 4 hours away from home?

haha thanks mate ;) Also no worries, it's no problem - these plans will not take long to upload, so long as I remember to do it haha

And I knoooooooooow :( :( :( Shop is four hours away...such a pain lol, I'd be there right now if it weren't such a long drive. Could be worse though - it could be underwater apparently :O I am hoping in a few months to be able to move out of the city to a place with a basement or something where I can move my shop.

Uploaded them :) They are in a .zip folder. Rather than putting them on your FTP, I uploaded them to mine since it was faster for me to just do it that way. Download here:

    http://newmaninstruments.com/Acoustic%20Instruments.zip

I'll leave this .ZIP folder up for a couple of days for anyone who wants it; I don't want to leave it there permanently but I'll leave it for a good while. There are lots of steel string plans there for all kinds of guitars - OM, Parlors, Dreadnaughts, Jumbo, etc.

Also some Uke plans, I think a mandolin, an Irish bouzouki...at least one unknown instrument (looks a bit like a lute?). There are some plans for baroque guitars as well.

I will get the classical plans up as well here once I find them :)

Thank you for making those available. I don't really build those things, but building the library and seeing how things are done is always cool.

yeah, the limit for pdfs here is a 19.5k file - pretty small.

sign up free at Dropbox.com and follow the instructions... once it's copied into your dropbox folder, you can right click on it and get a link to post.

or... google drive if you have a gmail account - works like a dropbox account.

or several other "cloud" type deals
