hay everyone,i am in the process of gathering all the info i can on building my new exotic Tele,it will be my first serious guitar build,so i am studying hard on timber/measurements/scale/tools/finishes and learning all sorts in the process,so for my timber first of all ,i am nearly sure i will be using a Sycamore body with a Wenge blanck/top,, Handuras Mahogany arm with an African Ebony fretboard,I may have to go through the body with the neck,it depends if the timber supplier will cut my timber the way i want without burning a whole in my pocket,As regards pickups i am thinking Seymore Duncan hot rytham/vintage rytham for neck,And maybe Hot rails tapped for the bridge with a 4-way switch. The finish will be decided when i get to that point or maybe i will leave it be.
I have measurements for the body and the head stock, what i do not have is the scale length or fret spacing,If anyone could help me with this i would be most grateful.
    CHEERS FOR NOW.

yes yes yes ,thank you, finally hehe, been asking for this on 5 other forums for weeks now,one other Q if ya dont mind,i have measurements i got from,TDPRI forum, terry downs drawings, now i dont have a tele but i have an american strat and i compared the measurements from both terry's and my strat and his was about 6 or 7 mm smaller,so i am hoping the tele drawing is not to small, this is a bit of a worry for me as i am getting all my measurements in dif parts from dif people,so i wonder do you have any drawings of the body and neck width,i just want my measurements to be the same as a standard tele,ok thanks again for the scale calculator, great help cheers.

You ask over at tdpri? That would be you best bet. I think Down's file is the standard over there. Good luck and keep us posted.
