    Thanks, today's progress;
    Corian nut
    Made bolts for lid
    Chrome spike nut caps and washers
    Made jig for pup's
    Routed pup's cavities
    Routed out track for wires
    Drilled and mounted volume knob
    Tru-Oiled neck again
    Mounted strap pins
    Polished chrome hardware
    Need to hunt down some chrome screws to mount the pup's with. install jack & plate..

    Man that is cool. Ought to be a unique sounding guitar. Are you going to put in a p/up selector?

    Well she is finely done and ready to string up,
    So I finished wiring it, re-did the neck contoured and blended it back in. Now she has a coat of true oil on the re-done section.
    I cleaned those nasty frets and dressed the ends, leveled them and thru another coat of oil on the fret board which will get hit with a soft scuffy pad to de-gloss it and then is string time and tuning,,,, then yes I get to play with it!

    If anyone is interested in some boxes, I just picked up 18 Real Cuban Boxes today that I won't be using. $10 each plus shipping, chances are real slim you will find real Cuban boxes anywhere.
