    Hi all,
I've been lurking for a while, now my first post.

I'm refurbishing a LE SOPRANO PRO maple drum (made in italy) 20" 10" 13" 16"
I got it few months ago but it was in not so good condition so I decided to strip it down to bare wood and give it a new look.

I've always being in love with the blonde Telecaster so I want it to give the drum that look :)

Before I start with the compressor and airgun, let see if I got everything right to make it happen

    1) Sand the shells down to 400 grit
    2) Dark brown dye to help the wood to show through the end finish
    3) Wet cloth to raise the wood hair
    4) 2x C to seal the wood
    4) Sand 400 Grit
    5) 4x layers of Clear Nitro as basecoat
    6) Sand 600 Grit
    7) 1x layer of a Mix Clear/White 1:10
    8) 2x layers of Clear Nitro
    9) 4 to 6 layers of Butterscotch blonde (mix Clear Nitro with Ocre)
    10) Sand 1000 Grit
    11) Sand 2000 Grit
    12) Buff

    all correct?
    cheers!
