Just buy a nut with a radiused bottom (stew mac), it's much cheaper than having to buy a new neck because you screwed it up ;)
you could, but if you're careful there's no need.
Some pretty bad solder joints there, could be the issue.
FUCK OFF khemmanivoquinn!!!!
outstanding work, brother:bowdown:
3 in 1 SDS
why did you cut the frets so long? could've fretted another FB with what was wasted
Guitars look awesome though!!!!!:dude:
This is from, Martin's You Tube page.....Jump to 3:45.
What type of finish are you using? Lacquer, or Poly?
Let's just agree to disagree.:D
no prob, but if the guitar needs frets... what do you do after when it finally gets a fret job and now the nut it too low? I'll stick with...
I would file down the bottom of the nut long before I would ever take anything off of the neck...the nut's cheaper to replace should something go...
this one is a bit of a departure for you, Jon.
nothing wrong with multi piece bodies, no one will ever hear the difference, and welcome aboard!!
