I've seen many a hurt Ovation. If not for the sentimental value to the owner, I would not have touched it.

No regrets, owner loves it. It plays pretty good. She gets a piece of her dad back.
I found this one. This will be the route I go. Dual sanding capibilties make it more useful. Quick change drums. Check it out....
And the headstocks snap off......a lot. To thin and a bad angle make for easy pickings in the busted neck area. Although, I have made a nice chunk...
